Guy Bergeron
Head Coach

  • Academic Degree in Psychology from Florida State University.
  • 25 years of professional swim coaching.
  • 3 years in Dollard des Ormaux Quebec.
  • Level 4 National Coaching Certification Program.
  • Coach of the Year in Quebec in 1982.
  • Produced 2 Canadian Record holders in 1982.
  • Assistant Coach for 3 years at Florida State University.
  • Canada Games Coach for the Province of New Brunswick for 1985.
  • Coach of the Year in Ontario in 1999.
  • As a swimmer, he has represented the Province of Quebec at international swim meets.
  • National Lifeguard - Certified
  • Member of the CSCA (Canadian Swim Coaches Association).
  • Member of the OSCA (Ontario Swim Coaches Association).
  • Coaches swimmers at the Provincial and National level.
  • Responsible for Club program, team travel, membership, meet entries - supervising coaches, liaising with facilities, liaising with provincial and national swimming organizations, accounting,  preparing budgets and general running of the office and the Club.

 

Nina Popovica

  • University graduate in Swim Coaching and Physical and Health Education (5 year program) in Bulgaria.
  • 20 years of professional swim coaching.
  • Level 2 NCCP.
  • National Lifeguard - Certified.
  • Red Cross Instructor First Aid/CPR certified.
  • Aquatic Fitness Instructor
  • Member of the OSCA (Ontario Swim Coaches Association).
  • Developed national level champions and members of the Bulgarian National Swimming Team.
  • 12 years experience as a competitive swimmer.
  • Former member of the Bulgarian National Swim Team.
  • Participant in International Swimming Competitions.
  • Honored with the "Master of Sports" title for swimming.
  • Responsible for the Bronze, Silver,and Gold Groups.
